Pop singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer Jordan Duffy unveils her brand-new single, “Stay With Me,” a song about lovers expressing their desire for more than just a short sexual relationship.

Duffy began her career writing songs about heartbreak, empowerment, one-night stands, exploding toads, and zombie lovers. Her first professional performance occurred when she was 18 – she opened for Dickie Betts, the renowned guitarist of The Allman Brothers Band.

In college, Duffy studied and performed opera and discovered she had the ability to sing within a range of four octaves, like Prince and Freddie Mercury.

After graduation, Duffy became the first female audio engineer at Earwolf/Stitcher Podcasts, where she sang to Weird Al Yankovic and performed on The Office Ladies. She also sings the theme song for the Just Between Us podcast and is Engineer Jordan on the Best Friends podcast.

Highlighted by a low-slung, creamy melody of gently swaying surfaces, “Stay With Me” rides an almost imperceptible rhythmic pulse as Duffy’s evocative voice imbues the lyrics with tender, quixotic tones. There’s a bewitching, smooth quality and clarity to her vocals that warms listeners’ hearts.

“So baby stay with me / Not just tonight but tomorrow too / Baby just stay with me.”

With the quiet passion of prayer, “Stay With Me” reveals the emotional release found in the yearning for commitment.
