Jarrid Lee Shares Single “Too Good To Be True” of Upcoming LP ‘Give It All Back’
Discover Jarrid Lee’s soulful new single, co-written with Ashley Ghostkeeper, out now off the upcoming album ‘Give It All Back.’

Jarrid Lee, the soulful voice of Canadian country rock, releases his latest single, “Too Good To Be True,” following an exclusive premiere on Live in Limbo. Co-written with Ashley Ghostkeeper, this track marks the first single from Jarrid’s highly anticipated upcoming album, Give It All Back, due next year.
The inspiration behind “Too Good To Be True” dives into the growing disconnect in modern relationships, as people often become too absorbed by distractions to fully connect with others. Jarrid’s message is simple yet powerful: by being mindful and fully present, we may realize we’re already in the perfect moment to connect with the right person.
Written from two perspectives, “Too Good To Be True” blends Jarrid’s experiences as a husband who remains deeply in love with his wife and Ashley’s viewpoint from the dating world, where vulnerability and trust often feel elusive. Together, they crafted a song that captures the longing and excitement of a romantic connection. With its heartfelt message and relatable lyrics, Jarrid describes the single as a “wedding song” — an unexpected result that emerged naturally from their collaborative process.
In “Too Good To Be True,” Jarrid shares his belief in the power of attraction and the importance of being open to love’s possibilities. Drawing on influences from classic country storytellers and contemporary Indigenous voices, he offers a fresh perspective on themes of love and connection that resonate across cultural boundaries.
Lee comments on the track:
“The reason why most relationships fail in today’s world is because people are loving things more than they’re loving people”
Jarrid Lee will also be performing at the highly anticipated 3rd Annual Voices of the West Showcase on Friday, November 29, 2024, at the Edmonton Inn & Conference Center. This all-ages event, featuring artists like Chris Hess, Earl Tukwanow, Sarah George, Marmie Desjardin, Gage Arcand, Ger Carriere, Josh Crookedneck, and Marilyn Lamouche, promises an unforgettable night of music and community spirit.
Hosted by Superfan Magoo, the showcase offers fans a chance to experience a diverse lineup of Indigenous talent, with door prizes, raffles, and concessions adding to the evening’s excitement.
Tickets are available for $40, with table options for groups, making this a must-attend event for anyone passionate about supporting Indigenous artists. Interested attendees can call or text 306-713-2584 for tickets.
As Jarrid moves towards the full release of Give It All Back, his third album, “Too Good To Be True,” sets the stage for what promises to be his most ambitious and personal work to date. Follow Jarrid’s journey on his social media channels and listen to the new single on Live in Limbo today.
