On the heels of a sell-out run in Toronto, the comedic culinary adventure and international smash-hit Faulty Towers The Dining Experience is heading to Edmonton! The side-splitting tribute to the famous British sitcom is a fully interactive, hilarious 2-hour comedy tour de force of gags and shambolic service as Basil, Sybil, and Manuel serve a ’70s-style 3-course meal together with a good dollop of mayhem.
“Faulty Towers The Dining Experience is a completely unpredictable show,” says producer Corey Ross, CEO of Starvox Entertainment. “Seventy percent of the performance is improvised, and the audience are active participants, so no show is ever the same. The one thing that is completely predictable it is as hilarious and entertaining for die-hard fans of the sitcom as it is for those who are experiencing the chaos for the very first time.”
Devised by Alison Pollard-Mansergh and Andrew Foreman, Faulty Towers The Dining Experience is a loving tribute to the BBC’s classic TV series. A 5-star critically acclaimed comedy, the show is a world-renowned immersive phenomenon smashing records and collecting accolades since the first show at the Ridges Hotel in Brisbane on April 24, 1997.
The unmissable production has been touring globally in 43 countries and welcoming well over 1 million guests through its doors. 2023 marked the celebration of 15 years of touring Europe, and now in 2024, the show celebrates 27 years of touring worldwide and enters its 12th year of its highly successful West End residency in London.
Faulty Towers The Dining Experience is a loving tribute to Fawlty Towers, the BBC TV series written by John Cleese and Connie Booth. Their TV scripts are not used in Faulty Towers The Dining Experience; it uses its own original scripts and format.
