Throwlight Announce ‘Monster’ Album with New Single “No Fate”
Throwlight has released their new single “No Fate” as part of the leadup to their brand new album ‘Monster,’ due out November 1st.
Southern California’s up-and-coming alt/metal/hip-hop group Throwlight is back with their third single, “No Fate.” The single leads up to the release of their debut album, Monster, which drops on November 1st. The album features guest appearances from the iconic Slug of Atmosphere and legendary Rhymesayers artist Blueprint on the song “Midnight.” Pre-save the Monster LP today.
Following the buzz of their breakout singles, “Back Down” and “Oblivion,” Throwlight continues to push the envelope, blending heavy riffs, explosive beats, and razor-sharp hip-hop influences that are sure to ignite the metal and hardcore scenes. “No Fate” gives listeners a taste of what’s to come from the band’s forthcoming debut album, produced by Paul Miner, widely known for his work with punk and hardcore icons like Death By Stereo, Fear, New Found Glory, and Adolescents.
Commenting on the song, Rocom says:
“So many people feel trapped and stuck in place. Whether it’s myself, friends, or family, it’s a powerless feeling, like being a victim to the hand you’ve been dealt. This song goes out to anyone who feels like their fate has been decided for them because it hasn’t. There is always time to change, grow, and leave the past behind for a better future. There’s no fate, but what we make.”
Fans can experience the new music at Throwlight’s upcoming show on October 25th at the Glasshouse in Pomona, where they’ll share the stage with metalcore heavyweights Norma Jean and Cancer Bats. At the show, the band will give fans the first chance to purchase their limited neon orange 12” vinyl, which includes a sticker and five Throwlight trading cards while supplies last at the show only. Online sales for any remaining vinyl will be available on October 26th at the official Throwlight store.
With the buzz surrounding their debut singles and its accompanying music video for “Back Down,” “No Fate” is set to take things to the next level. Throwlight is carving out their own lane in the crowded music landscape, and they’re not just a band to watch — they’re ready to dominate.
