Kygo’s World Tour: A Dance Party for the Ages [Photos]
Electronic music star Kygo played a satisfying show to fans in Vancouver at Rogers Arena, accompanied by Vandelux and Zara Larsson.
Currently on his world tour, Kygo turned Vancouver’s Rogers Arena into a massive dance floor.
The Norwegian DJ and record producer landed in Vancouver for the second to last show of his 2024 tour, where he put on a great show for all the fans. He is not riding alone for this one with Vancouver’s very own Vandelux and Swedish singer Zara Larsson along as support.
Vandelux was the first one on set. He played a couple of original songs and was playing a drum pad to complement his live performance. Some of the songs he performed were “Matter of Time,” “I Do,” and his latest single “Somebody Else.”
Zara Larsson came to the stage with great energy and opened her performance with “Never Forget You.” Mid-set, she performed “Symphony,” her most popular song, and kept with her show, performing a total of eleven songs, closing with “Lush Life,” but we were going to see her again on the stage later.
Kygo arrived from the side, high-fiving some fans on his way to the stage. He sat on his piano for a quick intro and then played “Whatever” from his DJ platform. He brought British singer Zak Abel to perform “For Life” with him and later returned to perform “Lose Somebody” and “Freedom.”
For song number ten, “Stargazing,” Kygo brought out singer Justin Jesso, who brought up one fan from the crowd to sing part of the song with them. Zara Larsson returned to the stage to perform “Like It Is,” and then Parson James to perform “Stole the Show.”
After his regular set, Kygo had to do an encore to satisfy the fans who were not ready to leave after the 30-plus songs performed. Justin Jesso came back to the stage to perform “Firestone,” and then Kygo performed “Higher Love” and “Freeze” to close out the night.
