Brighton-based metal four-piece Knife Bride have released a killer new single, “Territory,” as they gear up to head off on tour around the UK with Defects and Profiler later this month. Influenced by Bring Me The Horizon, Spiritbox and Evanescence, “Territory” brings frontwoman Mollie Clack’s impassioned and compelling vocal to the fore.

Mollie (recent interview here) says:

“Territory is a love song, believe it or not. It was written after a hostile exchange and I see it as a kind of diary entry, I guess. It’s very dramatic and purging and really highlights how crazy love can make you.”

Coining the term Nu-Gothika and embodying that spirit with all its implied drama, Knife Bride have been making their mark on the UK’s metal scene with their own unique immersive sound.

Knife Bride has also been in high demand as a special guest for the likes of HanabieGraphic NatureWargasmScene QueenVukovi and Skynd in venues all across the UK and Europe, dominating any stage they occupy. Within two mere years of the band’s formation, they also played three sold-out headline shows at hometown Brighton’s Green Door Store.

This year, Knife Bride was nominated for Heavy Music Awards’ “Best UK Breakthrough Artist” and “Best Breakthrough Live Artist.”
