G.H.Francis Releases His Latest Single, “Gypsy”
G.H.Francis has released his latest single and music video for “Gypsy,” a cover of the Fleetwood Mac song of the same name.
G.H.Francis is back with “Gypsy,” a modern handcrafted version of Fleetwood Mac’s ’80s hit. Driven by his signature blend of acoustic and electronic drums, lush guitars and heartfelt vocals, the song drives an exhilarating summer melancholy.
The hypnotic mood gives way to a soulful choir buildup before taking off into a blazing guitar solo. In just a few months, G.H.Francis has opened for established acts like LA Priest, Petite Noir, and Douglas Dare.
The video takes us on a half-urban-half-bucolic stroll, punctuated by existential questions that dig into the artist’s condition.
For some people, music isn’t a career choice: it’s a way to experience the world, to find your place and communicate with the rest of mankind. For Gregory Hoepffner, writing and producing music is as vital as water and air. His G.H.Francis project bloomed from a life journey of releasing records and touring all over the world, with multifaceted projects like Almeeva, Sure, Ghoster, Kid North, Time To Burn, Kabbel, and performing with Bernard Szajner, the laser-harp inventor.
Fully pop, and urgent, G.H.Francis relies on the vitality and shape-shifting ability of an artist who intentionally places light and catchy music on top of deeply personal thoughts, somewhere between catharsis and autobiography.
