Award-winning drummer and composer Ernesto Cervini brings his celebrated project, Joy, to the stage for two unforgettable performances in Ontario.
Award-winning drummer and composer Ernesto Cervini brings his celebrated project, Joy, to the stage for two unforgettable performances in Ontario. Inspired by the beloved Gamache detective series by Canadian author Louise Penny, these concerts coincide with the highly anticipated release of her latest book, The Grey Fox on Tuesday, October 29th.
In Joy, Ernesto Cervini and his ensemble of some of Canada’s finest musicians present music inspired by Penny’s enchanting fictional village of Three Pines and its colourful characters. This performance will bring to life the warmth, integrity, and compassion that permeate Penny’s novels. The show features 15 original compositions by Cervini, carefully crafted to capture the emotional depth and complexity of the series’ beloved characters and themes.
