Dayseeker returned to Boston on October 11th at Roadrunner with metalcore staples Kingdom of Giants, Catch Your Breath and Alpha Wolf.

Kingdom Of Giants started the night with a bang when they opened with their new, catchy song “Asphalt.” They played for a half hour and included songs like “Night Shift,” “Wasted Space,” and “Wayfinder.”

Up next was Catch Your Breath! They opened up with “Perfect World” and played other songs like “Cycles” and “Dial Tone.” Catch Your Breath has catchy choruses that stick in your head as you sing along to the lyrics. Their set was met with many crowd surfers throughout the night. They ended their set with “Shame on Me.”

Third to play was Alpha Wolf, and man, they never disappoint! Honestly, I wished their set was longer. They opened with a new song, “Haunter,” and the crowd was eating it up. Their whole set had moshers who never stopped moving! They filled the night with favourites like “Creep,” “Sub-Zero,” “Bleed 4 You,” and “60cm of Steel.” The band closed their set with “Akudama,” which had the crowd chanting and moshing along.

Lastly, Dayseeker came to take the stage. The band mixed new and old songs alike as they performed through the rest of the night. They started off with “Dreamstate,” which featured Dana Willax, the vocalist of Kingdom of Giants. Spread through their set were songs such as “Burial Plot,” “Dark Sun,” “Without Me,” and “Gates of Ivory,” which included a drum solo in the beginning by drummer Zach Mayfield. To end the set, Rory Rodriguez crooned to their cover of Evanescence’s “My Immortal.” They then concluded with an encore of “Neon Grave.”

This tour is definitely worth checking out. If you see this coming to a city near you, then I’d suggest you go see Kingdom of Giants, Catch Your Breath, Alpha Wolf and Dayseeker!

I got into photography in late 2017/ early 2018 even though cameras have always interest me. I've been working with mostly local bands in the New England area since mid 2018 and working on growing my craft since then. I love shooting live shows. The energy the bands give on stage can be such a powerful experience and I want to be able to capture that moment for a lifetime!
