Cigarettes After Sex brought their “X’s tour” and mellow sound to Rogers Arena in Vancouver for an 18-song set on September 27th.
Cigarettes After Sex brought their “X’s tour” and mellow sound to Rogers Arena in Vancouver on September 27th.
The Texas-based dream pop act began their 2024 tour last week, and they will perform all over North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania.
Cigarettes After Sex is riding solo on this tour, as they have no openers. They came to the stage to the song “Camille” by Georges Delerue, and after a few seconds, they began playing “X’s.” The entire arena was quiet during the performance, but after the song, the youthful crowd started going nuts.
The entire arena was in the same mood as the band, wearing dark clothes, calm, and enjoying the performance. They performed songs like “You’re All I Want,” “Nothing’s Gonna Hurt You Baby,” and “John Wayne.” They closed their enjoyable 18-song performance with “Opera House” from their 2017 debut album.
