SHUDDER AMC Teams Up with Coterie Coffee Co. & Concept Cafes to Release a Coffee Masterpiece for Horror Fans
SHUDDER AMC has teamed with Coterie Coffee Co. and Concept Cafes to release a special coffee specific to horror fans everywhere.
The coffee duo synonymous with delivering iconic coffee creations for the official private labels of legendary heavy metal artists like Cannibal Corpse has ventured into brewed darkness with the streaming institution of the horror genre that is SHUDDER, and into the mouths of millions of horror fans around the world. This collaborative conjuring has been in production since spring and is premiering just in time for the Season of the Witch. The official SHUDDER coffee pushes the possibilities of an immersive fan experience by channelling all of the senses, a signature trademark Coterie Coffee Co. & Concept Cafes have brought to the coffee game.
SHUDDER’s coffee is revolutionary and evolutionary in every way, with interactive packaging that looks past conventional coffee packaging and sets the stage for the fans to watch their horror tale unfold. There are no tricks or gimmicks afforded here either, just masterful roasting and packaging artistry that brings home that cinematic experience right into your living room, but be careful what you wish for…
Char Blanchard, the brains behind the beans, explains:
“Horror is our favourite movie genre and we have been fans of SHUDDER since the inception of the service. We wanted to create a coffee drinking experience that speaks to horror fans that’s why packaging is so detailed and the coffee itself gives chocolate candy bar vibes. It’s the perfect pairing for a horror movie night!”
Sourcing the perfect beans to blend, developing a special roast signature to SHUDDER and appeasing the hordes of horror fans everywhere was no easy feat, especially in keeping the blend natural without any artificial flavouring whatsoever. There’s definitely a discernable difference when high-grade beans and roasting science come together in a perfect formulation. The same holds true with the packaging, there’s an art to pulling it altogether to make it work.
Concept Cafes Founder Mike Tonsetic adds:
“As you can probably tell, we are very sensory-driven people, for better or for worse (laughs). But we’re also very experientially influenced when we deep dive into these concepts. Just like digging through an artist’s complete discography for inspiration, for a concept we might be working on. It’s really been the same process with SHUDDER, as in a lot of horror movies and serieses to digest.
“Of course there’s obvious horror nods ode here in SHUDDER’s packaging, but also thematically correlates with our lifelines so to speak. But it’s not about us, we just wanted to share a little bit of us so the fans can really share their own wicked tale with SHUDDER. What do we get out of it? Hey, if the coffee helps fuel someone’s creativity to share their own version like on the socials, then we just get to sit back and enjoy while we sip on a cup of devilishly good coffee!”
SHUDDER’s official coffee will be available immediately for preorder via www.conceptcafes.com and will start shipping the first couple of weeks of September on a first-order – first-ship basis, and just in plenty of time for the Halloween season. SHUDDER coffee also makes for the perfect addition to any horror fan’s collection, as well as perfect gift for any horror fan. The coffee comes either whole bean or ground with three different grind preferences. This coffee is also very versatile for drip, pour-over, French press, cold brew, and even espresso. This coffee is also available for shipping worldwide (additional customs and duties may apply to international shipping depending on destination country).
So, what are you waiting for? Turn on the coffee pot, turn off the lights, and tune in to SHUDDER for a frighteningly delicious experience!
