P!nk Delivers a Show to Remember at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena with The Script [Photos]
Pop superstar P!nk brought her “Summer Carnival Tour” to Vancouver’s Rogers Arena accompanied by pop rockers The Script.
P!nk and her Summer Carnival Tour finally made it to Vancouver’s Rogers Arena a year after its original schedule. The concerts were originally scheduled for October 20th and 21st of 2023 and had to be postponed due to illness, but the first night was exactly what the fans were hoping for and possibly more.
The Irish pop-rock band The Script was in charge of the opening act. Since their first song, “Superheroes,” the crowd has been singing along, looking like they were the show’s headliner.
The band continued, performing “Both Ways,” “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved,” “If You Could See Me Now,” “Nothing, For the First Time,” “Home Is Where the Hurt Is,” and closed with “Breakeven” and “Hall of Fame.”
P!nk started her show up high. She showed up from a big red mouth located above the stage and performed “Get the Party Started” while up in the air doing crazy acrobatics like a pure professional.
She divided her presentation into four acts; for each, there is a wardrobe change. The second act started with the song “Turbulence,” with her singing part up in the air again, followed by just a snip of “Walk Me Home,” which was part of the nightly guessing game with her pianist where she gets candies if she guests the song. While interacting with her fans, she was given a piece of cake made of Lego by a fan because P!nk’s birthday was two days after the concert. She closed the set with a match of “Just Like Fire” and “Heartbreaker.”
For the third act, she opened with “Please Don’t Leave Me” fully acoustic, just with the help of her guitarist, and closed with “What’s Up?.”
The fourth and last act started with “Try.” She performed “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” and had an extended outro to present her band members and closed out with “Never Gonna Not Dance Again,” where she presented her dance crow.
The last song of the night was “So What,” where she went up in the air for one last time. But this time, she was going all over the arena, in some cases getting close to fans, and everyone loved it.
