Lee Miller Matsos Releases New EP ‘Metamorphosis, Pt. 2’
Lee Miller Matsos has just released his latest EP, Metamorphosis, Pt. 2—and it’s a personal exploration of inner transformation. Following the reception of its predecessor, the new collection dives into the emotional turmoil and growth that define life’s toughest moments.
Recorded at Cleveland’s Signal Flow Studios with producer Chris DiCola at the helm, Metamorphosis, Pt. 2 showcases Matsos’ powerful vocals, lush guitar work (contributed by Lee’s counterpart Tyler Ray), and memorable percussionary sensibilities to create a mature sonic presentation, reflective of Matsos’ catalog.
Matsos describes the EP as a reflection on the challenging yet inevitable nature of change.
“People say change is hard, and sometimes it seems like it will never happen—yet it is somehow inevitable. These songs express what that feels like.”
His shift as an artist from opera and musical theater to the world of pop rock is evident in this release, blending his theatrical roots with a fresh, modern sound. Dedicated to his parents, who have profoundly influenced his artistic path, Metamorphosis, Pt. 2 is a tribute to their impact on his creativity and determination, and the personal journey that is being documented through his sound.
Listen to Metamorphosis, Pt. 2—now available on all platforms.
