Boston-based rock band Lansdowne have released their latest single, “Here to Stay,” streaming now via AFM Records. The new track coincides with the announcement of a five-date headline UK tour in November.
“Here to Stay” follows previous single “Oxygen,” and on the lyrics and message of the song, vocalist Jon Ricci explains:
“‘Here to Stay’ is a powerful song about overcoming adversity and coming together to say, “no mater what happens, no matter what you throw at us, we’re going to be victorious.” We’ve spoken with so many fans that have told us stories about the challenges they’ve faced and the struggles they’ve endured, and how our music has been a part of their process as they heal and motivation as they push through tough times. So this is our way of saying we understand, we’re with you, and no matter what happens we’re going to get through this together.”
Lansdowne have also announced a string of headline UK tour dates coming up in November, which will take them and support bands Weapons of Anew and Killakoi through London, Newcastle, Birmingham, Manchester, and Glasgow.
Tour Dates:
21.11.24 – O2 Academy Islington, London
22.11.24 – Anarchy Brewery, Newcastle
23.11.24 – Asylum, Birmingham
24.11.24 – The Star and Garter, Manchester
25.11.24 – The Classic Grand, Glasgow
