Holly Riva Releases New Single “Feel It Comin’”
Pop songstress Holly Riva has released another new single, “Feel It Comin’,” after completing her first-ever UK tour.
Australian 21-year-old singer-songwriter Holly Riva unleashes her first high-energy dance track, “Feel It Comin’,” that melds the electronic production styles of Rita Ora and Dua Lipa with her dark pop, edgy lyrics. The track promises summer vibes and encourages listeners to embrace their freedom, surrender to their desires, and feel completely alive.
Co-written by Holly Riva, Chris Swan, and James Birt (Karma Records), the single marks a significant milestone in Riva’s career. Having just completed her first UK tour, Riva is set to continue riding the waves of her success. Her previous single, “Labyrinth,” was featured as BBC Introducing’s May 2024 Song of the Month and gathered over 100k Spotify streams, signalling a new movement in her artistic journey. Triple J describes Riva as “equally elegant, quirky and powerful.”
Riva’s latest work features addictive lyrics that explore themes of anticipation and high tension. “I fully surrender, your hands on my skin. We’re burning like embers, I’m breathing you in” Riva sings, encapsulating the track’s feminine strength, confidence and intimacy. This powerful anthem showcases her ability to decide what she wants and take control.
Holly says:
“Beyond excited to share this track, I hope people lose themselves and experience escapism through it. I loved writing this one with the guys and becoming lost in translation.”
Fans can look forward to the single’s live debut in Sydney, Australia, where Holly Riva will headline the Music Maker Club Festival at the Oxford Art Factory on August 16th. This event marks the launch of her first dance track, perfectly timed for the European festival season. This event has showcased the likes of Meg Mac and Ocean Alley.
Holly Riva’s music has already reached a wide audience, with features on popular channels on shows like Home And Away, The Bachelor, FOX TV, France 2, Channel 5, and the feature film Lair starring Corey Johnson from The Mummy and Jason Bourne.
