Dark Tranquillity & Blood Brothers Brewing Announce Double IPA Beer
Swedish death metallers Dark Tranquillity has announced a partnership with Blood Brothers Brewing to release their own beer DANK TRANQUILLITY.
Swedish melodic death metal band Dark Tranquillity and Toronto-based brewery Blood Brothers Brewing are pleased to announce the release of their limited-edition Double IPA beer, DANK TRANQUILLITY, available only at the Blood Brothers Brewing taproom, starting September 16th, 2024. The beer cans will be skinned in a custom design featuring album artwork from the band’s project, Endtime Signals, illustrated by renowned artist Niklas Sundin.
Along with the limited-edition beer, the members of Dark Tranquillity will be at Blood Brothers Brewing on October 1st, 2024, for a special event where fans can meet the band and attend an in-depth Q&A session hosted by none other than Pedro Almeida of A&P Reacts. For more information on this event and to sign up to attend, please visit this link.
The team at Blood Brothers Brewing shares:
“We could not be more excited to partner with fellow dark travellers, Dark Tranquillity, for this beer collab and to host a meet and greet with their fans this fall at our Geary taproom. Our Dank Tranquillity double IPA has a big taste with soft, fresh tropical lime, citrus undertones, a strawberry fruitiness and a dank flavour and aroma. It’s always great to find others who share our passion for metal, beer and art, so this collaboration was particularly exciting for us.”
Founded in 2015 by Dustin and Brayden Jones, Blood Brothers Brewing is a craft microbrewery, taproom and restaurant in Toronto offering unique beer styles and tasty eats. The industrial-style taproom offers 19 different draught options, including their signature Blood Light Pale Ale, Shumei IPA, and rotating Paradise Lost Sour Ale varieties. Blood Brothers Brewery is situated in a renovated hundred-year-old horse stable in the Geary Avenue arts district.
Dark Tranquillity recently celebrated the release of their 13th studio album, Endtime Signals, in style, with a performance on Summer Breeze Open Air’s main stage at midnight. Dark Tranquillity rang in their new musical chapter live on stage with thousands of fans singing along to new songs, “Wayward Eyes,” “The Last Imagination,” and “Unforgivable.” Endtime Signals also debuted at #2 on the Luminate Canadian Hard Music Albums Chart.
Starting next month, Dark Tranquillity’s North American co-headline tour will begin in support of the new album, along with Amorphis and support from Fire In the Distance. Tickets are available at this link.
