The essential Detroit Lions gameday music kit has just expanded—former Michigan-native Andrew P. Oliver’s new EP, Lions Victory, delivers a hyped up blend of Detroit Lions-themed and inspired anthems, a couple of which you might’ve already heard at last year’s tailgate parties. The collection features a blend of trumpet leads and hip hop-infused, stadium beats mixed in with the characters you know and love—enter “Motor City Dan Campbell” and…Jared Goff! Jared Goff!

The most immediately recognizable melody, “Lions Victory (Gridiron Heroes)”, is a revamped version of the classic Lions fight song that gained some steam last year during the Lions’ playoff run. Inspired by the reception of that release, Oliver expanded the project to include a few more gems for Detroit fans.

The “Jared Goff” track on the EP is a sampling of the signature chant that has made its rounds across Detroit nation. The song opens with Amon-Ra St. Brown’s rousing of the crowd at draft day before the beat drops into the highly infectious chorus of, yep, you got it—“Jared Goff! Jared Goff!”.

Then you’ve got “Motor City Dan Campbell”, a fist-pumping homage to the man at the helm, MCDC himself that plays more like a war cry than a song.

Andrew P. Oliver’s approach with the EP is an entertaining homage to his midwestern roots, not only celebrating Detroit sports but also showcasing his innovative style in the studio, ensuring fans have the perfect soundtrack to fuel their game-day experience.
