Seven Hours After Violet Announce Album; Release Single “Radiance”
Seven Hours After Violet, led by Shavo Odadjian, announced the release of their self-titled debut album, which is scheduled for October 11th.
Seven Hours After Violet, the new heavy metal powerhouse led by Shavo Odadjian, bassist of the iconic, multi-platinum band System of A Down, are thrilled to announce their self-titled debut album, scheduled for release on 11th October via Sumerian Records’ imprint 1336 Records. This announcement comes alongside the release of the band’s ethereal second single, “Radiance,” now available on all major streaming platforms, accompanied by a visually stunning music video.
Seven Hours After Violet is the groundbreaking new project from Shavo Odadjian featuring Taylor Barber (Left To Suffer), Morgoth (platinum-selling producer and guitarist of Winds of Plague), Alejandro Aranda (Scarypoolparty, American Idol) and Josh Johnson (Winds of Plague). They exploded into existence in June with the release of their debut single, “Paradise,” garnering much praise and excitement from fans and critics alike.
Speaking on the announcement of their debut full-length, Shavo shares:
“This album is the culmination of years of creative exploration. With Seven Hours After Violet I wanted to return to my roots in heavy music but also bring something entirely new to the table. “Radiance” and its precursor, “Paradise”, are but a small glimpse of the intensity, musical diversity and emotion that run through this album. We can’t wait for everyone to hear it in full and to bring these songs to life on stage at our first live performance at Mayhem Fest”.
Various pre-order merch bundles for Seven Hours After Violet‘s self-titled debut are available now.
Seven Hours After Violet will play their first-ever live show at this year’s recently announced Mayhem Fest at the Glen Helen Amphitheatre in San Bernardino on 12th October.
