On the subject of the track, Dan says:

“‘Cupid’s Error’ (a play on cupid’s arrow) is a romantic tragedy. It’s sung by rising talent Luke Matthews from the perspective of one half of a crumbling relationship. This relationship may have at first seemed like a match made in heaven, yet a brutal reality has just now reared its ugly head.”

The track forms part of the genre-melding mind of the Brighton-based music fanatic. Hopeless Fables captivated by using genre as a tool for creative self-expression. The result is an exciting project covering a wide palette of sounds. The album flows through shades of electronica, funk, hip-hop, jungle, rock, before landing on a dark, theatrical folk finale; but all woven together through Dan’s idiosyncratic production, seamless song transitions and otherworldly conceptual fabric, rendering the experience one continuous fever dream.

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
