Amava – “Bitter End” [Song Review]

Pacific Northwest electronic pop artist Amava has released her new single, “Bitter End.” The song explores the idea of defeating the fear of getting hurt, whether in a relationship or life itself and charging ahead without hesitation.
In her own words, she explains: “I was very much seeing the imagery of crashing your car through the finish line and still going.”
Nashville songwriter/producer Lucas Arens produced “Bitter End,” while her upcoming EP is a collaboration with artist and producer Lillith. Earlier this year, the pair released “Terrify,” an appetizer of their collaborative efforts.
Amava started out as a folk artist, followed by transforming her sound to an exhilarating blend of pop, hyperpop, and electronic dance music.
Surging with electro-pop dynamics riding a thumping dance rhythm, “Bitter End” thrums with pushing motion, highlighted by expanding to dazzling, pulsating layers of muscular vibrancy. Amava’s vocals range from darker, smoky tones to delicious, high timbres, imbuing the lyrics with impassioned resolve.
