Oruã Release “Caboclo” Music Video; Begin North American Tour
Brazilian lo-fi group Oruã has released their new music video for “Caboclo” and embarked on their summer North American tour.
Experimental lo-fi Brazilian group Oruã has released their single “Caboclo.” This is the third single off their new LP Passe. “Caboclo” is an entrancing and powerful song that will keep your attention from the start. Their iconic lo-fi indie rock sound blends perfectly, creating a mesmerizing groove.
Oruã will take the noise on the road this summer, sharing dates across the U.S. with Dad Bod. The tour kicks off in Idaho, just in time for their LP release, and hits major cities across America.
Tickets, dates, and information can be found HERE.
Oruã says:
“Caboclo is a warrior who came from the forest and is said to be the son of a European settler and an Indigenous Brazilian. In the common Brazilian universe, Caboclo is a runner and does everything he can to survive.
“In the center of Rio de Janeiro in 2024, Caboclo received a bullet, died on the spot and came back a few minutes later with his head held high.
