Brock Geiger is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer unveiling a vibrant new single, “Steps Taken.” Featuring a two-take drum performance by Matt Chamberlain, “Steps Taken” was co-produced by Geiger and Grammy-Award winner Will Maclellan (Boy Genius, Phoebe Bridgers, The Killers).

Commenting on his new single, Geiger states:

“‘Steps Taken’ was written as a reflection on the intricacies and fragility of relationships, ecosystems built on trust, losing oneself to someone or something, and finding regeneration and a way forward by looking inwards. I’m a big fan of juxtaposition and extremes in art and ‘Steps Taken’ achieves this with its energetic-spazzy, K-Pop inspired foundation for heavier lyrical themes.

Having established himself as a multi-instrumentalist and producer in the Canadian scene, Geiger is a key collaborator on nearly 50 records and has toured worldwide with a multitude of projects (The Dudes, Reuben and the Dark, Raleigh).

His Swiss-army knife side-man approach has landed him on stages including Austin City Limits, Sasquatch Music Festival, and Union Chapel, with songs featured on internationally acclaimed films and TV. With this kinetic musical installment, Geiger takes a bold step out from the shadows of the sideman role, undeniably establishing him as an artist to pay attention to.
