New York-based electronic music producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist Kevin Sihwan, aka Hyeseong Park, releases two versions – a Radio Edit and an Extended Mix – of his latest single, “Tonight.”

“When it comes to producing tracks, I’d rather focus on vibes and making my songs as danceable as possible than making good lyrics. Even if the lyrics are good if the vibe is not good enough, I’ve found that I can’t play it in my sets anyway,” says Kevin.

Originally from Seoul, South Korea, Kevin initially established himself in K-pop and Japanese City Pop, followed by focusing more and more on EDM, where his unique sound, a blend of electro-house and future house, envelopes listeners in thick washes of rhythmic pulsations.

Following a brief whooshing intro, “Tonight” rolls into a thumping, driving rhythm topped by gooey, vibrating synths that build dazzling crescendos and drop spectacularly. By shifting topline textures, going from deep, oscillating surfaces to luminous, vibrant colors, the tune intensifies both its charisma and levels of energy.

Smooth, velvety vocals and sparse yet perfectly utilized, glowing harmonies provide an acoustic counterbalance to the potent ebbing and rising waves of synths.
