Ryan Castro Performs Debut Canadian Concert at Vancouver’s Commodore Ballroom [Photos]
Reggaeton superstar Ryan Castro and DJ Tony Escobar touched in Vancouver and delivered plenty of good vibes at the Commodore Ballroom.
Colombian reggaeton star Ryan Castro brought his dynamic sound and versatility with his first-ever Canadian show at the Commodore Ballroom on May 24th in Vancouver. Ryan summoned a mostly young Colombian crowd from all over the Metro Vancouver area, and some made the trip from the other side of the border.
The night started with Vancouver-based Colombian DJ Tony Escobar, who not only was playing a great selection of old-school and more recent reggaeton hits, but his show had dancers on the stage who made his set even better.
Escobar hyped up the crowd and kept everybody dancing and singing along during his entire run. Ryan started his set, finishing checking his fir from the backstage and while on the background screen. The fans were euphoric; Ryan came out to the stage and started going through all his hits.
Some fans were waving Colombian flags while dancing and singing songs like “Monastery,” “Una Noche en Medellin,” and “Quema.” The latter is the first single from his latest album, El Cantante Del Guetto, released just a few weeks ago.
During the entirety of Ryan Castro’s set, the vibes were up, and everybody looked like they were having a good time and did not want the concert to end. That is what good reggaeton artists are all about.
