Grieve Get Heavy as Hell on Latest Single/Video “Sick Together”
Florida metalcore quintet Grieve have just unveiled an incredibly heavy new single/music video called “Sick Together.”
Emerging from the darkness is the latest in a series of savage singles from Orlando metalcore act Grieve. Exploring a more sinister side of their sound, “Sick Together” grafts the chugging chromatic chaos of deathcore with catchy, bouncy grooves that will send any crowd into a frenzy.
Frontman Scott Ellis dives deep, using the dark corners of his past to inspire the vicious vocal performance. “Sick Together” is the final single leading up to the release of Grieve’s new EP, Bound to the Hurt, releasing on July 14th via all streaming platforms.
The band skillfully combines modern hardcore, deathcore, and progressive elements into a unique and sonically diverse package. With punishing, dissonant riffs from guitarists Evan Draper and Tommy Henthorne, rock-solid grooves from bassist Michele Becker and drummer Ian Currie, and unrelenting vocals from frontman Scott Ellis, Grieve are a unique contributor to the new wave of modern metalcore.
