UK rockers Deaf Havana have kicked off 2023 with a heartfelt Cher cover, exclusively for Amazon Music. Having been asked by Amazon personally to choose a song the duo would like to cover for their Amazon Original feature, they have put their own spin on the iconic, “If I Could Turn Back Time”.

Teaming up with long-time producer Mike Horner, the cover features strings from the Parallax Orchestra who have performed live with the likes of Bring Me The Horizon and Eminem. Brothers James and Matty also worked on the programming of the track with Joe and Al of Hot Chip, in their studio.

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
