Defiant six-piece nu-metal rockers Seething Akira have released their explosive new video for their turbo-charged nu-metal single “Metaphors.”

An aggressive fusion of synthesizers, brutally heavy rhythms, thrashing guitars, and their signature explosive rap/rock vocal performances all wrapped up in their provocative lyrics, the band explain that “Metaphors” is about a single moment in time where you decide whether taking the chance is worth the risk.

The single is pure hardcore chaos wrapped into a gift box, signed, sealed, and delivered with their usual bombastic style, and you can see for yourself by checking out the video here:

Digging further into the subject matter of the track, the band state:

“‘Metaphors’ is the description of a single moment of hope seen in another individual or activity, and deciding in that single moment that it is worth the risk to pursue this single moment of hope for the potential of much greater moments that may follow, even if this may not come to fruition.”

The track is taken from Seething Akira’s explosive Nozomi album which was released in November last year.

Tour Dates:

01/27 – Voodoo Winter Ball, Electrowerkz
04/08 – Takedown Festival Portsmouth (Sleep Token, Skindred, Loathe, InMe)
04/28-30 – Teddy Rocks Festival Blandford (Jake Bugg, Feeder, The Lathums etc)
08/12 – Bloodstock Catton Hall

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
