Irish post-metal sludge band Raum Kingdom have announced full details of their upcoming sophomore album, Monarch, due on January 27th, via Argonauta Records. Today, fans can hear the lead single “Red Admiral” and watch the accompanying music video.
Raum Kingdom started out in late 2013 on the east coast of Ireland when singer Dave Lee and guitarist Andrew Colohan set out to create a soul-crushing experience of sonics. When long-time friends bassist Ronan Connor and drummer Mark Gilchrist joined the lineup, the project was ready to express itself.
After the sudden and sad passing of bass player Ronan Connor in March 2021, Raum Kingdom wanted to release their last recordings and writings in respect of Ronan’s memory.
