MIKE Unveils “No Curse Lifted (rivers of love)” Music Video
MIKE shares the video for his track “No Curse Lifted (rivers of love),” directed by Ryosuke Tanzawa. His seventh album ‘Beware of the Monkey’ is out now!
MIKE releases his seventh album in the last five years, Beware of the Monkey, today via his own 10k label. The album was entirely self-produced under his dj blackpower alias. Beware of the Monkey draws its title from a horoscope MIKE read in a Chinese restaurant about the year he was born (year of the Tiger), which warned him of this future. Celebrating his tradition of releasing projects solely on the Summer or Winter Solstices, MIKE is also sharing a new video for the track “No Curse Lifted (rivers of love),” directed by Ryosuke Tanzawa.
Earlier this month, MIKE announced his upcoming Ipari Park Tour, featuring support from 454 and Slauson Malone. Amounting to the most extensive North American tour run of his career so far, the run of dates spans across the continent, including headline shows in Boston, Toronto, LA, Atlanta, and Philadelphia before concluding with a hometown show in Brooklyn at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Tickets are on sale now here.
