Baltimore, MD indie rockers Dosser share their video for “Dark Air,” new single off their album Violent Picture/Violent Sound which is due out on January 20th, 2023, via Really Rad Records.

Vocalist Bret Lanahan comments on the song, stating:

“‘Dark Air’ is about a handful of close friends that passed away or took their lives when I was younger, I wrote some of the lyrics a long time ago but could never put them in a song. The older I get the more I think about them. I see them more in my dreams now than I ever used to.”

He continues:

“The dreams are mostly happy. We’re all friends again, but even in the dream I’m aware that it can’t be real. It’s a lot of self reflection and wondering if there was anything I could have done to help. It’s probably the heaviest song on the album for me but I enjoy playing it because it reminds me of old friends I haven’t seen in a long time.”

Stay tuned for the band’s album release show featuring performances by They Are Gutting A Body of Water and Cuni on January 20th, 2023, at Joe Squared in Baltimore, MD. Tickets can be purchased here.
