UK solo artist Slye has just unveiled his first official music video for the single “Do You Dream In Black And White?,” which combines surreal visuals with dreamlike sequences. Slye delicately crafts funky indie pop that draws from the classic sounds of the ‘70s while remaining sleek and melodically topical.

The new video floats through the journey of a dream. Kaleidoscopic imagery, floral waterfalls and retro palettes create a surreal and abstract odyssey. The video moves through joy, sorrow, pain and reverie as Slye moves through different emotional landscapes.

Commenting on the new clip, Slye states:

“Writing this song, I tried to really let go of my expectations of what I wanted to make. I wrote the lyrics in one motion and promised myself I’d stick to that moment. I wanted to create a video that had the same feeling of abstraction and separation that the lyrics hint at.”
