We always encourage Killer Mike to keep “Talk’n That Shit!,” and he’s doing so on his latest single/music video (his second of 2022). These are Mike’s first solo releases since his 2012 outing, R.A.P. Music.
Production comes from DJ Paul (Three 6 Mafia) and TWhy Xclusive while the video was directed by seck and highlights Killer Mike’s standing as a community pillar. Cameos include a variety of groups and organizations, including PAW Kids, Bass Reeves Gun Club, Next Level Boys Academy, Youth Build, and New Georgia Project.
Commenting on the song and video, KM states:
“The song is self explanatory. With the video I wanted [to] show the freedom and beauty in being able to turn up in spite of all the fuck-shit. That upsets the bourgeoisie even more- in spite of all your criticisms we’re gonna live free and stay lit.”
