Jason Lyles Releases New Album ‘Tandem’

Jason Lyles, Chattanooga, TN-based indie rock artist, released his newest album, Tandem, this past Friday—and it’s a beautifully diverse collection of songs covering a range of emotions and sonic feels.

The album came together in what Lyles describes as a “journey through the cosmos”—and it’s a fitting description. Each track brings a new flavor, whether it’s the soft, acoustic-leaning feel of “Wildflowers” (which is a Tom Petty cover he chose to include in tribute to his wife) or the distortion-driven feel of “Every Little Second.” To put it simply, the album showcases range. And it does so gracefully and cohesively.

The lead single off the album is called “Bargain Bin” (and good luck kicking the earworm from that chorus), but we think that’s the last place you’ll be finding this album. Speaking of which, listeners can keep an eye out for Tandem vinyl coming in March of 2023.
