For the Love of Horror Brought a Weekend of Scares to Manchester BEC Arena [Photos]
For the Love of Horror returned over the weekend and horror fans descended on the BEC Arena in Manchester. Appearances included Corey Taylor, Cherry Bombs, David Arquette, and Dog Soldiers.
In the UK horror calendar, For the Love of Horror is one of the most popular conventions around. Pulling in thousands of fans from all corners of the country, the convention returned to its home at the BEC Arena in Manchester last weekend.
Kicking off with a launch party which saw Corey Taylor and Cherry Bombs performing live to kick off the weekend’s activities, the following two days saw a host of names from the horror genre meeting fans of the genre. Top attractions this year included personal appearances from Corey Taylor, David Arquette, Dog Soldiers and many more.
Aside from the horror celebrity meet & greets, stars of the movies held Q&A sessions with fans; there was a chance to have your photos taken in mock-ups of the legendary scenes from the genre and tonnes of stalls selling all manner of merchandise from DVDs and posters to masks and gruesome food.
Graham Finney headed down to the convention, and you can check out the photos below.
