Denver, Colorado’s black metal group, Wayfarer, confirms a December U.S. winter tour with Alberta, Calgary’s extreme metal outfit WAKE.

Denver, Colorado’s black metal group, Wayfarer, confirms a December U.S. winter tour with Alberta, Calgary’s extreme metal outfit WAKE. The “A Romance In Descent” tour kicks off at the Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Festival alongside heavy groups such as Cannibal Corpse and Pig Destroyer and will lead to Chicago’s Peace Simulation Festival.
Commenting on the news, Wayfarer vocalist/guitarist Shane McCarthy shares:
“We are looking forward to bringing the ‘Romance’ era to a lot of areas we haven’t been to in several years, as well as playing a few places we’ve never been. To do so along a band of total rippers such as WAKE from Canada will make it quite a ride. The Iron Horse rolls on.”
WAKE guitarist Rob LaChance adds:
“We are so excited to finally reveal our continued US dates of our tour for Thought Form Descent. These special dates will be with our friends in Wayfarer We are really looking forward to see you all again.”
