Symphonic deathcore titans Lorna Shore have revealed their long-awaited new album, Pain Remains, will see release through Century Media Records in October 2022. The album follows on from the release of their …And I Return To Nothingness EP, the first for the band with new frontman Will Ramos.

To whet fans appetite for the album, the band have shared the first single “Sun//Eater” and you can check out the video here:

The video for the clip was shot at the end of the band’s recent UK headline tour in conjunction with Loki Films. Frontman Will Ramos had this to say about the song:

We’re so happy so be able to put out something different and new that further exemplifies who we’ve become as individuals and as a whole. This song/album really brings together everything that we’ve been working towards being and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you all.

The band are currently touring the US with Suicide Silence, Carnifex, Upon A Burning Body, AngelMaker and Distant on the “Chaos & Carnage Tour” before playing Lollapalooza in Chicago in July. Later in the year, the band will be heading to Europe with Parkway Drive and While She Sleeps later this year.

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
