Brussels avant-pop duo Twin Toes return with an irreverent slice of sophisticated alt-pop on “Ghost Hair,” lifted from their forthcoming debut album due this October through Capitane Records.

“This new single is a true gem of bedroom pop that will especially resonate with anyone who’s ever lost one’s hair”

Following on from the band’s acclaimed debut “Lost In Playlists,” “Ghost Hair,” continues Twin Toes’ unique musical evolution, offering a multi-genre often intrinsic approach to songcraft, peppered with ff-beat, wry lyricism.

Check out the video for the track here:

The band state:

“This new single is a true gem of bedroom pop that will especially resonate with anyone who’s ever lost one’s hair. ‘Ghost Hair’ is a letter that Antoine (the less hairy member of Twin Toes) writes to his beautiful hair, gone too soon. The writing and recording of ‘Ghost Hair’ allows us to discover our particular sound in the early days of our artistic process – that clever mix of organic and synthetic textures that would go on to serve us so well.”

They go on to add:

“The clip that accompanies the song was directed by our friend Simon Vanrie, who could be called the third member of Twin Toes since our inception. The concept of the video is to follow Antoine’s phantom hair to its unknown destination.”

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
