1. Thrash Maniacs Municipal Waste Confirm New Album “Electrified Brain”

Richmond’s hard-partying, thrash metal maniacs Municipal Waste will release their massively-anticipated 7th studio album, Electrified Brain, on July 1st through Nuclear Blast.

Recorded in Philadelphia with producer Arthur Rizk (Power Trip, Code Orange), Electrified Brain promises fans a high-voltage non-stop masterclass of neck-snapping thrash. Municipal Waste will hit the road in support of Electrified Brain beginning in April in the US, followed by a European tour with Anthrax in the autumn. Tickets available here.

2. Canadian Hardcore Punks Cancer Bats Release New Track and Coffee Blend

Canadian hardcore punk heavyweights Cancer Bats have released new track “Pressure Mind”. It is the third and final track to be released ahead of the band’s anticipated seventh studio album Psychic Jailbreak, which drops April 15, 2022 through their own label Bat Skull Records in partnership with New Damage Records in Canada.

To enhance the listening experience of their latest single, Cancer Bats have released their very own ‘Pressure Mind’ coffee blend. Limited to 100 bags and only available in Canada, Cancer Bats’ ‘Pressure Mind’ coffee was roasted by Anchored Coffee Roasters (roasters of Matty Matheson’s Rink Drink Blend) in Dartmouth, NS.

3. Lamb of God Release Cover of Megadeth Classic “Wake Up Dead”

Heavy metal titans Lamb Of God have joined forces with Megadeth to remake their classic track “Wake Up Dead”. Originally released in 1986, “Wake Up Dead” was the lead single from Megadeth’s iconic multi-platinum selling album Peace Sells… but Who’s Buying?. The track features Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine and comes ahead of the second instalment of The Metal Tour of the Year featuring Lamb of God, Megadeth, Trivium and In Flames.

Lamb of God are set to return to the UK later this year to headline Bloodstock Festival on August 14th before returning for their State of Unrest headline tour with Kreator, Thy Art is Murder and Gatecreeper in December.

4. Masked Wolf Teams Up with Bring Me The Horizon on New Single “Fallout”

Platinum-certified recording artist Masked Wolf has shared his new genre-bending single “Fallout” featuring chart-topping, GRAMMY® Award-nominated rock band Bring Me The Horizon. Masked Wolf and the group originally joined forces in the summer of 2021 to record the track, and the collaboration with Masked Wolf follows the Sheffield band’s collaborations with Ed Sheeran and Machine Gun Kelly.

5. London Songwriter Reema Returns with New ‘Rooftops & Riversides’ EP

London born singer/songwriter Reema returns with a brand new EP Rooftops & Riversides, released on April 22nd 2022 via Berlin label junk-E-tracks.

Working once again with long term collaborator and friend Stefan Baumann, a talented musician and arranger from Germany, the follow up to Reema’s 2020 debut EP Lioness, Rooftops & Riversides was put together during lockdown, Reema writing while staying with her mother in England, Stefan working on arrangements in Berlin.
