British hip-hop crew, Lazy Habits have just unveiled the music video for their brand new single, “Waves.”

British hip-hop crew Lazy Habits have just unveiled the music video for their brand new single, “Waves.” The track follows the previous single, “CTRL,” which was the lead track off the band’s forthcoming album, Vermillion Sands, which is due out on May 1st.
“Waves” was, according to a recent press release, “[I]nspired by a collection of Short Stories by JG Ballard.” the band comments on the song, stating:
“What we consider acceptable behaviour doesn’t fit the personalities of everyone. This is about overcoming and learning and to function and live in the world that surrounds us.”
Frontman James Collins adds some additional context, noting:
“I think one of the reasons I write about dark subject matters is as an opposition to the lifestyles we are constantly sold through pop music; I guess it could be considered a red pill/blue pill moment. There are enough love songs out there. I have always read a lot – lots of Ballard, Poe, and authors who have a great imagination and are people drawn to the human condition.”
