Everything Everything (w/ Do Nothing) Put on Life-Affirming Night at Nottingham Rock City [Photos]
Manchester art-rockers Everything Everything put on a life-affirming show in Nottingham recently. Check out Carla’s gallery here.
Manchester band Everything Everything continued preparations for the release of their new album, Raw Data Feel, on May 20, by heading out on the road. Our photographer Carla Mundy caught the band at a packed-out Nottingham Rock City to bring back this killer photo gallery.
The task of opening the night was handed over to local punks Do Nothing who warmed things up nicely kicking off their set with “Gluelands,” the title track off the Glueland 2021 EP. Elsewhere the likes of “Lebron James” and “Gangs” saw the local lads dip back into their back catalogue.
It’s still almost a good two months until the headliners return with their new album so the setlist, unsurprisingly didn’t weigh heavily towards material that the majority of fans won’t have heard yet. Of the tracks featured from the album, the band kicked off their nineteen-song set with “Teletype” one of four cuts from the album making the list with the others being “Pizza Boy,” “Jennifer” and “I Want A Love Like This.”
Elsewhere, the band dipped into their back catalogue for a life-affirming set that included “Cough Cough,” “Kemosabe” and “No Regrets” amongst tracks taken from their Arc and Get To Heaven album while 2020’s Re-Animator was well-represented in the form of “Planets,” “Arch Enemy,” “Black Hyena” and “Violent Sun.” A great mix of tracks old and new for fans tonight with enough new material to make sure fans are more than ready for Raw Data Feel when it finally drops in May.
