The Prodigy have announced a headline UK tour this summer with the dates marking the Essex band’s first live shows since the passing of frontman Keith Flint three years ago.

The shows, which coincide with the 25th anniversary of their groundbreaking The Fat Of The Land album, kick off on July 8th in Sheffield finishing up on July 23rd with a third night at London’s Brixton Academy.

Announcing the tour on their social media, the band says:

“We can’t wait to get back onstage to play our tunes for the people again. The 25th anniversary of Fat Of The Land felt like the right time for us to step up. We’ll be dropping tunes from all our albums and maybe some shit you haven’t heard before.”

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
