Popstrangers Return with New Single/Video “Are Pigeons Doves?”
With their first new music since 2014, Popstrangers return with the single and video “Are Pigeons Doves?” plus news of their signing to Rice Is Nice Records.

With their first new music since 2014, New Zealand/U.K.-based trio Popstrangers return with the single and video “Are Pigeons Doves?” plus news of their signing to Rice Is Nice Records.
The band—which consists of Joel Flyger (guitar/vocals), Adam Page (bass) and David Larson (drums)—comment on the new song as follows:
“‘Are Pigeons Doves?’ is about the conversation I had with a friend, where he told me Pigeons and Doves were from the same family of birds. We had a conversation about how Doves could be universally loved as symbols of peace and then Pigeons were treated like pests. It’s an attempt at a lullaby based on the assumptions we make at first sight.”
