Having parted ways in 2020 with original vocalist Tom Meighan, there was a huge amount of interest when indie rock favourites Kasabian announced this winter run of headline dates, their first without their former frontman. With the new line-up confirmed, including guitarist Serge Pizzorno taking over as a frontman, and new music in their future plans, these are exciting times for the band and their fans. Judging by the reaction to the early dates on the tour not only has guitarist Serge Pizzorno taken to his new role like a duck to water but this new look Kasabian is receiving rave reviews across the UK.
With this in mind, we dispatched our photographer Christopher Ryan to capture the band at the Manchester date of the tour and you can check out the photos here:
Treating a packed Victoria Warehouse to a hit-filled set, it seemed that the indie band had really hit their groove. Despite changing a key position in the band, the transition for their new frontman looked seemless and, if you’re a fan of the band then you should be looking to the future of the band with much excitement.
