American rockers, Ugly Kid Joe have announced that they’ll have the honour of opening for Judas Priest on their September 9th show in Virginia Beach.
American rockers, Ugly Kid Joe have announced that they’ll have the honour of opening for Judas Priest on their September 9th show at the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater in Virginia Beach. The news marks the band’s return to touring in North America after a 25-year absence.
Commenting on the news, frontman Whitfield Crane shares, “In 1992 Rob Halford came into the studio when we were recording ‘America’s Least Wanted’ and sang on ‘Goddamn Devil’ and blew our fucking minds. As lifelong Priest fans, we are stoked to share a stage with the Metal Gods!”
Following 15 years away from the game, the band reunited in 2012, dropped the Stairway to Hell EP that same year, then the Uglier Than They Used Ta Be full-length in 2015. Now, the group is scheduled to release their next studio recording in 2022.
