Atreyu Release Heartwarming “Super Hero” Music Video ft. M. Shadows and Aaron Gillespie

It can be argued that the current state of the world sucks. Good thing, there’s so much love to go around. Point in case, the warm-fuzzy-feeling-inducing new “Super Hero” music video from metalcore mainstays, Atreyu. The black and white clip, which also includes cameos from Avenged Sevenfold’s M. Shadows and Underoath drummer/vocalist Aaron Gillespie, is all about family, love, and good times. “Super Hero” comes from the group’s 2018 release, In Our Wake, and the video marks the band’s 20th anniversary.
Commenting on the video, the band collectively stated, “Our song ‘Super Hero’ was written about what it’s like to be a parent and the vast amount of time, effort, energy, and hard work it takes to be a real-life superhero for your children. The song also has a broader meaning, especially given the current situation the entire world is dealing with. There are many superheroes out there who appear in many forms — namely the first responders, medical personnel, and health care workers who are putting others first as they work to fight COVID-19 and to save lives. We dedicate this song to them.”
Fans can expect a new Atreyu recording, the guys’ eighth, to drop later in 2020 via Spinefarm Records.
