Swedish alt-folk artist James Auger, aka A Choir Of Ghosts, is ramping up for the April 3rd release of his debut album, An Ounce of Gold, due out via Greywood Records. Following the awesome music videos for the tracks “Southwest of the Moon” and “An Ounce of Gold” in 2019, A Choir Of Ghosts debuted the new single “Sinner in Rapture” on February 14th. Now, with the spring “An Ounce of Gold” tour also looming, anticipation continues to mount for this brilliant new album, which was co-produced with Canadian producer Terry Benn.

According to a recent press release, “Jame’s music roots through the reminiscence of Kurt Cobain, Tallest Man on Earth and Hollow Coves. To unwrap the meaning of the album we need to make our way through the deep, thick Scandinavian forest, into the wilderness until we reach him, fingerpicking the guitar along with his melancholic vigorous tunes to long for.”
