EDDY LEE RYDER Deals with Crappy Neighbours in Her “Small Apartment” Music Video [Premiere]

New York singer and songwriter Eddy Lee Ryder (formerly Liz Brennan) has a new video out today, and it’s a riot! The track is called “Small Apartment” and is lifted from Ryder’s forthcoming EP, Expected To Fly, while the poignant video depicts someone dealing with annoying neighbours. Not one to pull punches, Ryder commented on her new clip saying, “This song is lovingly about my downstairs neighbour and my biggest fan, Roberta, of Apartment 7, who had me evicted.”

Throughout 2019, Ryder dropped several singles and continued to build her following. Her last EP was under the above-mentioned moniker, Liz Brennan, and the new Expected To Fly EP is due out in 2020. Stylistically, Ryder’s music melds rock and pop (which she’s dubbed “demented pop,”) while the lyrics, according to her bio, “tell dramatic stories filtered through a slightly cracked lens.” End of the day, this stuff is fun, cute, and certainly catchy.
