It’s the start of new year here at PureGrainAudio so, to set you going, we’ve pulled together eight new songs, videos, and bands that have recently landed in our inbox that we think you should check out. Enjoy!

01. Bleed The Sky – “Serpent”
– Orange County, CA metalcore band Bleed The Sky have released their official music video for single “Serpent”. In addition, the band will hit the road in support of their new release with Skinlab beginning on January 23rd in Sacramento, CA at Holy Diver.


02. Blackwater Holylight – “Jizz Witch”
– Portland, OR quintet Blackwater Holylight have released their video for “Jizz Witch” from their sophomore album Veils of Winter out on RidingEasy Records.


03. Moloken – “Unbearable”
Moloken releases a new music video for their latest single “Unbearable”. The single is taken from Moloken’s fourth album Unveilance of Dark Matter, set for release the January 31, 2020 on The Sign Records.


04. Black Mirrors – “Günther Kimmich”
– Belgian rock excellence Black Mirrors have released their high voltage unplugged version of “Günther Kimmich”, along with a music video, out now through Napalm Records.


05. Wire – “Primed & Ready”
Wire have shared “Primed & Ready”, the second single from their new and seventeeth studio album, Mind Hive, which is set for release on January 24th 2020 via the band’s own label pinkflag.


06. Helldown – “The Unnamed”
– Brit metallers, Helldown, are set to release their blistering sophomore EP, In Deaths Hands, on Friday 17th January. The rising thrash metallers have just a new track, “The Unnamed”, and you can check it out here.


07. Motives – “Death Throes”
– Cleveland alternative rock band Motives are readying for a monumental year with the upcoming release of their new full-length album, Death Throes, out on March 13th through Smartpunk Records. The band is kicking off 2020 with a brand new single and the title track, “Death Throes” which you can check out here.


08. Holycide – “Trapped By The Crappy Trap”
– Spanish thrashers Holycide, have just released the second advance single of what will be their 2nd album Fist to Face, and it’s a controversial lyric-video of the song “Trapped by the Crappy Trap”, which we advise you to watch before it gets banned!

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
