It’s the start of another new week here at PureGrainAudio so, to set you going, we’ve pulled together ten new songs, videos, and bands that have recently landed in our inbox that we think you should check out. Enjoy!

01. Chiasmata – “Absolution”
– Progressive metal quartet Chiasmata have released the video for their new single “Absolution”, the second taste of their forthcoming release.


02. Mobs – “Find Another You”
– Following on from the release of their critically praised single “Big World”, Melbourne-based indie-pop band Mobs have today returned with their new single “Find Another You”.


03. Seven Strait – “Folsom Prison”
– Hailing from Canada and Sweden, Seven Strait have released their cover of the Johnny Cash track “Folsom Prison”. Their cover is set to feature on their upcoming new album Rise From The Ashes.


04. Hazzerd – “Victim Of A Desperate Mind”
– Calgary-based thrash group Hazzerd, whose sophomore album, Delirium, will be released on January 24 via M-Theory Audio have unveiled a lyric video for their blistering new song “Victim Of A Desperate Mind”.


05. Those Damn Crows – “Set In Stone”
– Hotly-tipped Welsh rock act Those Damn Crows have shared their new, official video for latest single “Set In Stone”, taken from their upcoming album Point Of No Return due out on February 7th via Earache Records. .


06. The Hot One Two – “Pints of Cheer”
– UK rock crew The Hot One Two are firmly embracing the festive period with the release of their Christmas single, “Pints Of Cheer”. Watch the fun-filled video for the track here:


07. Bakers Eddy – “On My Own”
– New Zealand born, Australian based melodic punks Bakers Eddy have released a really fun new video for their single “On My Own” that “celebrates the unabashed joy of embracing your inner-introvert in an otherwise crowded word.”.


08. Saltlake – “Bitter Pill”
– With a sound rooted firmly in modern alternative rock, Sussex trio Saltlake return with their new single, “Bitter Pill” ahead of a busy 2020. Check out the single here:


09. Trashed – “Charlie Sheen”
– For fans of Sum 41 and early-era Green Day, Trashed are Bristol’s answer to 90s/00s style punk rock, and you can check out their new single, “Charlie Sheen” here.


10. October Ends – “Lost”
– Working towards the release of their upcoming album, Zodiac, rising UK alternative metal crew, October Ends, have released their blistering new single “Lost” and you can check it out here.

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
