It’s the start of another new week here at PureGrainAudio so, to set you going, we’ve pulled together ten new songs, videos, and bands that have recently landed in our inbox that we think you should check out. Enjoy!

01.Pythia – “Hold Of Winter”
– As part of their activities to round off 2019, Pythia have unveiled a brand new video for the track “Hold Of Winter”, from their critically acclaimed recent album, The Solace Of Ancient Earth.


02.Wildstreet – “Three Way Ride”
– Picking up on the success of previous single, “Tennessee Cocaine”, hard rockers Wildstreet are back with a new single “Three Way Ride”. Check it out here.


03.Ditz – “Total 90”
– Fast-rising Brighton noise-rock band Ditz have revealed the video for their new single “Total 90”, which comes alongside news of a headline tour kicking off on Valentine’s Day 2020.


04. Dirty Sound Magnet – “Social Media Girl”
– Psychedelic rock power trio Dirty Sound Magnet from Fribourg, Switzerland, have just released their second album Transgenic and are back with a new video “Social Media Girl” ahead of a full European/UK headline tour in winter 2019.


05. Bursters – “Savage”
– Korean act, Busters, described as “the new face of Korean rock”, have just issued their new single, “Savage”, taken from their forthcoming debut album, due in January 2020.


06. Lottery Winners – “Little Things”
Lottery Winners are sharing the video to “Little Things”, the second single to be taken from their self-titled debut album which is due for release on 13th March 2020 via Modern Sky UK. The video was masterminded by frontman Thom Rylance and the band’s long-term video collaborator Shaolin Pete.


07. Pop.1280 – “Boom Operator”
– New York industrial punk group Pop.1280 have shared an intense new video for latest single “Boom Operator” taken from their new record Way Station which is released on 6th December through Weyrd Son Records.


08. Primes – “Dreamer and I”
– With a sound inspired by everyone from Catfish And The Bottlemen to Kings Of Leon, Primes are ready to take on the UK music scene armed with their new single, Dreamer And I.


09. Amberian Dawn – “Lay All Your Love On Me”
– Heading towards the release of their new album, Looking For You, on January 31 2020, Amberian Dawn have released their cover of “Lay All Your Love On Me” by Swedish giants, Abba. Check it out here.


10. Vex Red – “Air”
– With plenty planned for 2020 including a full UK tour, UK alt-rockers InMe have released a new track, “Air”, which the band describe as their commentary on the current climate emergency.

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
